Thai PM postpones China visit due to earthquake in China

Prime Minister of Thailand Samak Sundaravej will postpone his official China visit scheduled from May 15 to 17 after consultation between the two sides, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Qin Gang announced on Wednesday.

    Qin said the decision was due to the massive earthquake in southwest China's Sichuan Province, and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabaois overseeing the rescue work in the quake-hit areas.
